  • Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others

We may allow others to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet and to provide analytics services. We use Google Analytics and Google Crashlytics. With your consent, the mobile access app uses the analysis tools Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics (collectively “Google Analysis Tools”) from Google LLC as described in more detail below, to analyze user behavior and to report on the stability and improvement of the mobile access app.

Such tools are used on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR): When you start the mobile access app for the first time, you can decide whether you do or do not wish to consent to the use of one or both Google analysis tools. After starting for the first time, you can withdraw your consent(s), where given, at any time by disabling the corresponding Google analysis tool in the settings of the mobile access app. The Google analysis tools can also be (re-)enabled at any time in these settings.

More information about both Google Analytics tools may be found at:

https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/

as well as in Google’s privacy policy.

Enabling Google Analytics for Firebase permits data about the user of the mobile access App to be collected for the purposes of analysis.

Through Google Analytics for Firebase, Google collects data on the device (in particular the Mobile Advertising Identifier), IP addresses and app activities on our behalf to evaluate the use of the mobile access app, to compile reports on the activities performed within the mobile access app and to permit it to offer us other services related to the use of the mobile access app.

In addition to disabling Google Analytics for Firebase in the settings of the mobile access app, you may limit the use of the above-mentioned Google Play Services Advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS) in the device settings of your mobile device:

For Android: Settings> Google> Ads> Disable personalized advertising

For iOS: Settings> Privacy> Advertising> Limit Ad Tracking

You can find more information on data protection, in particular on the personal data involved in specific cases, at:

https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/6318039.

The personal data will be deleted after 14 months.

We also use the Google analysis tool Firebase Crashlytics to receive error reports following any crash of the mobile access app and to measure and improve the performance of the app. If the mobile access app crashes, information about the crash, such as device type, operating system version and some technical data, is sent to Google via the mobile device, which enables us to diagnose and solve problems (so-called crash reports). The data is stored anonymously.

More information about Firebase Crashlytics can be found at:

https://firebase.google.com/docs/crashlytics

The personal data will be deleted after 90 days.

With regards to personalized ads, If you want to stop receiving personalized ads, you can go to “Settings”, once you choose not to receive personalized ads, we and our third-party partners will stop sending personalized ads to you. Please note that the number of ads you see will not change, but they may be less relevant to you.

11. ANONYMIZATION OF PERSONAL DATA

At FORPARTUM, safeguarding your privacy is our top priority. To comply with global data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we implement robust anonymization techniques for certain personal data collected through our platform. Anonymization ensures your data is protected while enabling us to provide improved services and analytics without compromising your identity.

11.1 How We Anonymize Your Data

  • Encryption and Hashing. Personal information, including names, email addresses, and other identifiers, is subjected to advanced encryption and hashing processes to render it unintelligible to unauthorized parties. Once anonymized, the data is stripped of identifiable elements and stored securely, ensuring it cannot be linked back to you without additional protective measures.
  • Data Stripping. Identifiable components such as names, IP addresses, and account identifiers are removed or masked to prevent recognition. Anonymized datasets are maintained separately from personal data to eliminate the risk of re-identification.

11.2. Regular Updates and Audits. Our anonymization protocols are regularly reviewed and updated to incorporate the latest security advancements, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

11.3. Purpose of Anonymization

  • Enhancing Privacy. Anonymization reduces the risk of unauthorized access or misuse by ensuring your data is no longer linked to you as an individual. This safeguards your privacy even in the unlikely event of a data breach.
  • Supporting Analytics and Improvements. Anonymized data enables us to conduct statistical analyses, monitor trends, and refine features to enhance the quality of our services. These insights help us understand user behavior without compromising individual privacy.
  • Compliance with Legal Standards. Anonymization aligns with global privacy standards, ensuring lawful data processing while maintaining user trust.

11.4 Data Separation

To maintain the integrity of our anonymization efforts:

  • Personally identifiable information (e.g., names, email addresses) is stored in secure databases isolated from anonymized datasets.
  • Internal safeguards prevent unauthorized linking of personal data with anonymized information.

11.5 Retention of Anonymized Data

Anonymized data is retained for extended periods for purposes such as research, product development, and analytics, as it no longer qualifies as personal data under applicable laws. Retention policies are carefully designed to balance data utility with privacy considerations.

11.6. Your Rights

As part of our commitment to transparency and user empowerment, you have the following rights regarding our anonymization practices:

  • Information Requests: You can request details about how your data is anonymized and the security measures in place.
  • Opt-Out Options: If anonymization practices do not meet your expectations, you have the right to opt out of specific data collection or processing activities.
  • Data Correction and Deletion: While anonymized data cannot be traced back to individuals, identifiable data can be reviewed, corrected, or deleted at your request.

11.7. Our Commitment to Security

  • Robust Safeguards. Our anonymization processes employ industry-standard techniques to ensure the highest levels of security. Encryption keys and anonymization algorithms are regularly reviewed to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance Assurance. FORPARTUM remains committed to upholding global privacy standards, integrating GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations into every facet of our data processing operations.

11.8. Independent Reviews

We work with independent security and privacy experts to audit and validate the effectiveness of our anonymization practices. By anonymizing personal data, FORPARTUM strives to maintain a balance between delivering innovative services and ensuring user privacy and data security. For additional information or concerns regarding our anonymization efforts, please contact our support team.
